This is a blog that we will use to give updates about Elise as she is getting older. We will try and include milestones and fun things that are going on in our family.
Elise and Evan had matching Christmas outfits and we had to try and get some cute pics of them together. Of course that sounds easier than it actually was. We finally did get a couple cute ones of them both looking.
On Christmas Eve Chris' family came over to enjoy the evening with us. Elise had a great time opening gifts and playing with Grammy and her new dollhouse. Poor Grammy left with a backache.
Almost two feet of snow and counting. It just seemed like it was never going to stop. All of our Christmas lights have disappeared under the snow. Elise keeps looking on the window, I don't think she can believe how much snow is out there.
The fireman in Grammy's neighborhood always come around with the old fashioned fire engine and have Santa riding in the back. It is a cute tradition. So, we all headed over to Grammy's to see Santa yet again. We dressed Elise up in all of her winter gear for the first time and let her play in all of the snow. She wobbled around and had such a great time. Elise was so excited to see Santa and she went right to him.
On Saturday we went and saw all the holiday lights at the fairgrounds, and apparently everyone else had the same idea. The line was about 1/2 hour long just to see the lights. After we went and saw all the lights, we saw Santa's reindeer, went on a train ride, a merry go round, and saw a super cute snowwoman. Elise and Evan had a blast together. As Evan says "I had a fun day!".
Elise, Daddy and Mommy went on a train ride to see Santa at the North Pole. Elise loved the train ride. She actually sat on Santa's lap today, so I guess the third time is the charm. What a fun day.
