The Philly Zoo

Our last stop on our roadtrip was the Philly Zoo. For it being the oldest zoo in the country, it was super nice. It was kept up very well and they had many fun animals. Elise's favorite was the penguin and Chris' was of course the rhino.

Independence Hall & The Liberty Bell

I felt the need to visit these things considering in my almost 30 years, I have never seen them. It was a fun little trip. To be honest you get the goose bumps standing in Independence Hall just thinking about the men that were in that room and what they were doing for our country. It is just amazing.

The Crayola Factory

On one of the rainy days, we headed to the Crayola Factory. What another fun place for kids. Elise got crayons, markers, clay and got to make a few projects. She loved painting her fish!

Character Breakfast

This was what we think Elise's favorite thing. She had the biggest smile on her face when each of the characters would come to our table. It was so much fun!

Sesame Place

Our main purpose was to take Elise to Sesame Place to see all her favorite characters. Oh boy, did she love it! Her favorite ride was a mini tower of terror. She would just smile and laugh the whole time. She also loved it when Daddy took her on the big water slides, even though she didn't like wearing the life jacket. What a great place this was for kids! It was worth everything just to see the smile on her face.

Hershey Park

On our first day of vacation we headed to Hershey Park. It was a super cute place. We did the ride through the factory, the taste testing (which was Elise's favorite), and the trolley ride through town. We all learned a lot we did not know about Mr. Hershey. What a great town, wouldn't it be nice to be surrounded by the chocolate smell all day everyday?

Summer Pics

What a difference a few months can make! When we took Elise for her 2 year old pics, she was in charge and we were lucky to get a couple good shots. This time, she took all the directives so well and had a fun time with them. She took about 9 pics and then told the photographer that she was done. We were so grateful that the photographer worked quickly and got some great shots.

A Day with the Barbers

Happy 4th!

This 4th of July we went to The Kinderman's house for a BBQ, then headed to OP for their parade and fireworks. Elise was not a fan of the fireworks at first because she didn't think they were safe. About 10 minutes into the show she finally began to watch them , then ended up liking them. I was more shocked that she stayed up past 11 last night and was not the least bit crabby.
