The Broadway Market

It is a tradition in my family that we head to the Broadway Market on Good Friday. This year I was lucky to have off Thursday so we all headed there to experience the crowds and good food. I always get my chocolate covered strawberries, Grandpa always gets his horseradish, and Grandma always gets her butter lamb. Elise had the chance to sit on the Easter Bunny which we all decided need to take a bath and she was lucky enough to have some chocolate for breakfast...lucky her!

Birthday with Mommy and Daddy!

Mommy and Daddy took off the day to spend it with Elise. We had intentions of doing something fun outside, but the weather didn't allow that by any means. So we headed off to breakfast, where the lady insisted on giving Elise ice cream and 9 in the morning. The we went to the botanical gardens in the city. Elise had a great time smelling the flowers, which I think is more than inhaling in the flowers. Then we headed to Applebee's for dinner where they all came and sang to her and she had the chance to enjoy her favorite french onion soup. It was a fun day and we have decided that it is going to be a tradition that we do every year.

Happy 2nd Birthday Elise!

I woke up this morning very sad that my baby is turning two already. I remember the day she was born like yesterday. Chris and I look at the things she is able to do now and we are in awe of her. Her little personality has definitely come through. We all say that she looks like Chris but acts like me. She is going to be one determined woman when she gets older. Here are some pics of her birthday party.
